Gemini Live Music exists to help bands move their original music forward. Being a musician requires countless hours of practice, but writing original songs, booking live shows, and performing full 60- to 90-minute sets can be even more demanding. When you add the cost of sound equipment and hiring a sound engineer, it becomes clear why so many artists struggle to take the next step.
That is where Gemini Live Music helps. We provide the guidance, resources, and support musicians need to strengthen their craft, share their original music, and perform with confidence on stage.
While our primary focus is on showcasing Maryland’s original artists, we also support other talented acts who reach out and align with our mission. Currently, we’re working with Kenny Presley, who we previously booked to perform at the Star Centre in Havre de Grace, MD.
We are currently working on building our website to complete what is needed to create a structure so that we can easily add new artists in 2026. We want to focus on:
- Local artists with at least an EP worth of music
- We can provide a web page to showcase the artist’s original music if the songs are of high quality. Please no violence or profanity in the songs lyrics as its tough enough without adding those extra elements.
- We want Artists to focus on continually writing new songs
- Open to playing local gigs with a combination or original and cover music until you can provide 90 minutes of originals
- We can coordinate to provide the venue and Sound Engineer
- We are open to Artists writing BLOGs/Articles with advice on topics they excel on, regarding music. This can be about songwriting, touring, merchandise sales, instruments, social media tips, and more.
